Straight bars, hot-rolled bars, and peeled bars are made by hot rolling of billets. Cold-drawn bars and various shaped bars are made by cold drawing of coil or hot-rolled pickling bar. These bar products are processed by downstream partners for the use in computers, computer peripherals, industrial and ship shafts, chemical and medical items.
Walsin Lihwa manufactures a variety of straight bars featuring high quality, stability, outstanding straightness, high precision, and excellent machinability. The company's bar manufacturing is located in Baihe, Shanghai (Shanghai Walpac Material Products Co, Ltd.) and Hsin Chuang in addition to Yen Shui. In addition to the conventional oval bars, the Yan Shui plant supplies hot-rolled hexagon bars, and both hexagon and square bars are manufactured in Baihe and Hsin Chuang. - Hexagon and square bars manufactured in Baihe and Hsin Chuang.
- Baihe: 6.0 mm - 76.2 mm hexagon bars and square bars.
- Hsin Chuang: 4.46 mm ¡V 65 mm hexagon bars and 4.76 mm - 38.1 mm square bars .

| Hot-rolling service : |
- One heating furnace, one 650 hot-rolling mill, and three 500 hot-rolling mills, Batch type cooling bed, and seven-roll straightening machine at the Baihe plant for the production of 40 mm ~*130 mm (5mm steps) hot-rolled oval bars and S60 n~S100, F140 ~ 216*F150~210 round and square bars, with monthly capacity of 18,000 tons of carbon steel and stainless steel.
- 200 and 300 series stainless steel, 17-4PH, 416, and 310S, as well as carbon steel in accordance international standards for dimension, surface, and quality.
